President's Message

The state of the economy continues to present us with many challenges. The cost to provide quality services continues to increase while we see an erosion of revenue from both governmental and private sources. The degree of difficulty increases dramatically in this environment. However, you can see by the information in this report that the staff of the Marshall-Starke Development Center has done an outstanding job. The people we serve have experienced a great deal of success and all of the stakeholders have expressed a very high level of satisfaction with the programs and services we offer. I strongly believe these outcomes are a testament to the commitment to quality that is so very important to the Board of Directors and the staff of the Marshall-Starke Development Center. The challenges before us are many. Nevertheless, together we will persevere.
